War in kyrta greens Moddable?
http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/The_Adjudicator
Proof right there. I think the war in kyrta greens are moddable. I only have one atm, a shield, and no shield mods. Can someone else prove this or disprove this?
I found a person showing it in game.
EDIT: This was the only place i could think of putting the thread. I dont know if its right or not.

So two greens with same name and skin but different mods.
We need more example/occurences about this.
Now for the moddable part, unless anyone can do it itself, just forget it for now ^^
What shield do you have, no inherent mods on it or none to test on it ?

i can confirm for dyable part on Harmony (green DF focus HSR 10% +30hp)
I applied a brown dye on it.
Then applied a yellow dye.
Can't use HCT 10% focus core on it, neither focus inscriptions like +10AL vs. damage.

Oh, wow. I just tested it on The Soul Reaper and yes, it appears to accept both staff heads and staff wrappings. I didn't actually go through with the modding but the game would have let me.
I would test on the spear Righteous Fury, had I any spear mods ATM. But neither weapon accepts inscriptions.
edit: also tried dyeing. Soul Reaper is NOT dyeable, but Righteous Fury is.
edit the second: lovely guildmate borrowed me a spear grip and yes, Righteous Fury accepted it.

Looks like green modding could work like modding non-inscriptible items.
Can you salvage mods ?
Be aware that to confirm you can salvage or apply a mod, you actually need to do it.
(Most of current pre-war greens accept salvage action on them, but can't get salvaged, for example)

I am not willing to either mod or attempt to salvage my greens, because 1) I want to keep them and 2) I will not abuse a potential bug. So I will not go through with either action. However, let's see. Righteous Fury lets me apply a salvage kit, Soul Reaper does not - I did not actually click to salvage to see what the spear would have salvaged into.

Tell that to the people who got banned for duping Armbraces, or for the people who skipped the 4 prerequisite parts for Mallyx, etc. Anet does make mistakes, and they do hold people accountable for abusing things that are not meant to be there. However, if people were to 'use' an exploit like this, and then notify Anet about it, along with what and how they did it, it would be fine for them. But making use of something not intended is indeed a problem.
I don't, however, think this was unintended. I think they finally saw that a unique skin on a green weapon is nice, but not all people want the same stats.

There must be a difference between abusing duping bugs on purpose, and investigating about possible moddability of white mantle greens, introduced by WiK updates...

So only WiK greens, not other ones. Right?

I tested a few other greens I have, and nope, just the WiK ones.
And Elephantaliste... no, there really isn't a difference, when the end result is the same - unless you voluntarily destroy the items immediately afterwards. I opted for the safe, sane way and contacted Regina about whether this is intentional or a bug.

If this is a bug , and you modify it, remember the HoD sword that Anet came in and unmodded for everyone, that just amounted to loosing the mod.
But in those days the +20% while enchanted was 150k. But i know anet took my 2 mods off and left me with a clean HoD sword.

Yes, this looks quite fun to use...
Hopefully its something they put into the game not a bug!
